Hi there! My name is Cara, and I am a master’s student at Louisiana State University, based in New York for the past eight years. My path to social work has been shaped by the art of the pivot I began as a plus-sized model, building spaces where people could feel seen and celebrated, and later became a producer, connecting people and ideas in meaningful ways. These experiences deepened my belief in representation, connection, and the importance of being truly heard.
