Congratulations on taking the first step toward making change in your life! My name is Carly. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 10 years of experience in behavioral health, and have worked with adolescents and adults experiencing both mental health and substance abuse disorders. I graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and completed an M.S.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. John's University. Our first session will mostly be information gathering. I will ask you not only what brings you in today, but about various parts of your life. I always make sure that our first appointment will feel like a conversation, not an interview.
