I am Carolina Villar-Mendez, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor since 2013. I have experience in several areas related to young adults, mature adults and elderly populations. My interest is in the treatment of relationship concerns, sexual trauma, diversity issues, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, substance related issues, and family of origin concerns. My theoretical orientation is truly eclectic, integrating psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, interpersonal, insight-oriented, and multicultural theories.
