I am a licensed clinical psychologist, practicing in New York City for over 40 years. I offer individual psychotherapy to adults and adolescents, as well as couples and family therapy. We may address a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, loss, life crises, problems in intimate relationships and troubling patterns of behavior. Inevitably the work expands to include an exploration of beliefs and self-protective ways of being that are no longer needed and get in the way of a whole-hearted appreciation of one's unique strengths, one's entitlement to make active choices and to pursue one's most authentic goals.
