Many years ago, French Philosopher Albert Camus wrote, "In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer and that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there's something stronger, something better, pushing right back". I believe therapy is an opportunity to find your invincible summer, the something stronger that resides within. Emotional pain is real, sometimes overwhelming, even paralyzing. Therapy is a safe place where we explore what's not working for you and together find solutions and make adjustments to restore balance and tranquility.
