If you are a parent or caregiver searching Psychology Today, there is a good chance your child is struggling at home or at school. I am glad you are here. Watching someone you love struggle can be so difficult. I work primarily with children and families to address concerns such as trauma, attachment/relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and healthy communication. I strive to create a calm, safe, nurturing environment to support the child as they work on being the best version of themselves. I primarily utilize child-centered play therapy. I am trained in EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Collaborative Problem Solving, the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Heart Math, and Nurturing Parenting.
