I am currently accepting new clients ages 18 and up for individual counseling, in office and via video telehealth. Common presenting issues include anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and relational challenges. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of success in therapy. Without feelings of safety and trust, it is difficult to let down your defenses. I have a preference for an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approach, with focus on increasing open communication and expression of feelings in working with individuals struggling in relationships. I specialize in the 12 Step Recovery Model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR in treating substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and trauma.
