I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Simi Valley for over 25 years. I work with children, adolescents and adults struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, divorce, school-related difficulties and stress. My belief is that the most essential factor when doing this type of work is to establish a sense of trust along with providing a therapeutic environment which is safe, secure, accepting and nonjudgmental. This conveys to the individual that they are respected for who they are which can lead to an increase in self-respect and respect for others.
