Teenage years and young adulthood can be very difficult to navigate. You are trying to figure out who you are, what kind of friends you want, what to do about your family, and where you are going in life.Growing up in New Orleans as a black woman with a visual impairment, I have experienced the struggles of finding that exact taks. You want to move forward in peace and confidence. Therapy can be helpful in understanding and overcoming the obstacles that come up in everyday life. It is important to feel comfortable enough with your therapist to open up in order to heal and collaboratively find positive solutions to attain your goals
