About
Most people need help at times in their lives navigating difficult experiences. My approach is collaborative, action-oriented and positive with individuals and couples. When relevant, I incorporate somatic (body) approaches, including EMDR and Brainspotting modalities to working with anxiety, phobias, trauma and other issues. My influences include IFS/parts work, self-compassion, feminist, and polyvagal approaches. I am also an interactive couples therapist, committed to helping escalated couples move through painful dynamics. You will connect more deeply with the past and better address your current challenges in our work together. I specialize in difficult life transitions, such as adapting to parenthood, professional changes and divorce. Other areas of specialty include neurodivergence, anxiety and trauma. I also specialize in individuals impacted by mental illness, addiction and/or trauma of a loved one. Finally, I am a good fit with artists, parents, academics and other therapists.
