I personally have benefited greatly from counseling. My past experiences inspired my passion to develop the skills to help others as I was once helped. Empathy is the primary pillar of the counseling profession. I believe creating a non-judgmental and confidential space, where complex emotions and fears are discussed and normalized, is the recipe for counseling success. I use a vast variety of techniques and theories to encourage clients to build self-awareness and self-advocacy. Each client is unique, therefore each counseling experience is unique. There is no singular theory or technique that works for everyone.
