There is hope for change! I welcome UofM students and adults from the greater community, that are enduring deep pain and seeking relief. I specialize in treating; trauma/C-PTSD, depression or bi-polar, anxiety, grief, those effected by substance abuse in their family, and challenging life transitions. My approach is collaborative, empathic, and trauma and attachment informed. I utilize strength based, somatic, and psychodynamic methods. Clients often find that as a result of our work together, in addition to feeling better and finding relief, they develop a new relationship with both themselves and the world around them. I bring valuable skills to my practice from my work at the trauma informed Center for Healing Connections in Monroe MI for 4 years, and the Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic Mel Bornstein Clinic in Ann Arbor MI for 1 year. I also offer somatic and attachment focused EMDRIA approved EMDR. This can be woven into talk therapy or be the main focus.
