Clients that have a history of substance abuse or behavioral addiction, leading to negative consequences in their personal, social, and professional life. Some have experienced significant trauma, such as childhood abuse, domestic violence, or a traumatic event, resulting in symptoms of PTSD or complex trauma. Their mental health and addiction issues have strained their relationships, causing conflicts, communication problems, and difficulties in maintaining healthy connections.
