About
Most of the time, two types of clients find me. You may be an athlete (14-22) struggling with performance pressure or injury recovery, or perhaps you’re an adult (25-35) struggling with people-pleasing patterns of over-responsibility and self-sacrifice. The student athletes I work with say something like “I’ve lost my confidence. I’m freezing up. I’m not playing to my full potential. I worry I won’t be able to get back to the player I was.” The adults with people-pleasing behaviors often talk about “I’m anxious in relationships. I don’t want to make anyone mad or upset. I’ve lost my voice and don’t know how to stand up for myself.” If you’re an athlete, we’ll work on managing anxiety and pressure, building confidence, bouncing back from injury, and exploring who you are inside and outside your sport. If you’re an adult with people-pleasing behaviors, we’ll work on understanding your relational patterns, taking up space, finding your voice, and navigating relationships more securely.
