I think the ideal client is somebody that needs to be heard, and needs to be seen in a space that feels comfortable to them. I think they will have that opportunity in working with me and be able to change their own lives in the ways that suit them. Sometimes, we focus on the deep things that bring us into therapy, and sometimes we end up playing a game, talking about the day to day, or even laughing hysterically. Building relationships with so many different individuals, its hard to pick just one specific way to work with them. I feel that I come into the therapeutic relationship knowing that it is the client that has all of the tools within them to succeed. I believe in remaining present with the client, being curious, and supporting them in their own decisions.
