My hope is to create a place that allows clients the freedom to express their feelings and struggles in a safe place without feeling a fear of judgement. From this, I aim to have clients stake with them some action steps they can use to begin to improve how they feel and function in daily life.I tend to use a lot of psychoeducation to insure that people are well education around their mental health issues. I like to use cognitive behavioral therapy, some dialectic behavioral therapy and attachment theory. Establishing a safe place to explore our struggles with the issues that led people to seek support at different times in their lives. Working together to formulate solutions, implement them as well as develop a better understanding of our strengths and areas for growth.
