About

I am a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety and substance use in individuals and families. I work with older adolescents and adults as well as with families who hope to motivate change in their loved one's substance use and/or other challenging behaviors. This work draws from a number of evidence-based, supportive approaches such as CRAFT, MI and ACT. As a Clinical Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School and a Clinical Associate at McLean Hospital, I have twenty years experience working with adults and adolescents in a variety of treatment settings. I take a non-judgmental, practical approach to addressing life's problems, with an eye to instilling in you a sense of mastery and competence.
