I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adler University in 2023, after seven years of community organizing on behalf of and alongside people with disabilities. This experience and my own lived experience as a disabled woman greatly influence my client-centered approach to therapy. We all can thrive as long as our needs are appropriately addressed. It simply requires us to recognize our own gifts, and the gifts of those around us.
