I work well with clients that are in difficult transition periods (such as a new job, going to college, getting divorced, relationship/family issues) or clients that are dealing with symptoms of depression and anxiety. I work with patients preparing for bariatric surgery and those who have had bariatric surgery. One of my passions is working with geriatric clients. I offer clients a judgement free and safe space to work on their most sensitive and daunting issues. Clients typically describe me as understanding, compassionate, and committed. My specialty is cognitive behavioral therapy, using coping skills and techniques that integrate naturally into a client's daily life. I also help clients tap into their strengths and use that to boost self-esteem and self-worth.
