I have worked as a therapist since 2017, when I graduated with a master’s degree in social work and am a LICSW. I am finishing up a PhD in Social Work, where I research various things, including exploring the trauma experience for women in patriarchal cultures relating to betrayal trauma, how using EMDR therapy modalities affects therapeutic outcomes with individuals with complex trauma, eating disorder policy development, and the variables that relate to individuals pursuing and obtaining higher education, among other research topics.
