At times, people find themselves caught in emotional or relational patterns that persist despite insight or effort. There may be a sense that something important is shaping experience beneath the surface, even when it is difficult to describe clearly. I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults who are interested in a deeper exploration of their emotional lives. Therapy provides a space to slow down, speak freely, and develop a fuller understanding of the inner forces shaping one’s experience. I also work with couples who wish to better understand recurring relational patterns and difficulties in communication or intimacy.
