The ideal client is a client that is ready to embrace change; both emotionally and behaviorally. Clients that work with Dr. Young can expect to clearly identify the specific life challenges that led them into the therapeutic environment in the first place. Secondly, the client will strategically explore how those challenges are currently impacting their mental health, well-being, and overall quality of life. The primary goal is to dispel any angst regarding the treatment process, to identify their unique needs, to create a safe & warm therapeutic environment, & to collaboratively create a comprehensive plan for long-term growth.
