Charisse Civil is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York who has been working in the Mental Health field for over a decade. She also has additional experience working with the HIV/AIDS Communities. Charisse believes she is able to connect with her clients on a human level where a level of comfort is established that allows them the safe space to open up and share their challenges and life experiences. The ability to create this safe environment is how Charisse begins the process to best help her clients because without it people can be very guarded and unsure if they can trust in the therapeutic relationship.
