As a therapist and member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I innately value the individual combination of identities that each of my clients may hold and how these identities uniquely intersect to shape the experiences that influence their lives. I strive to maintain a stance of cultural humility, believing that identity is a personal experience for each and every one of us, and there is always more to be known and acknowledged. I approach therapy from an attachment-based relational framework when working with all clients. I believe that change occurs in the context of a safe, secure, and trusting relationship.
