Hello! I am a mental health therapist in Athens, GA. I have lived here for almost 20 years and consider myself a native. I enjoy working with both men and women, mostly young to middle age adults but can also work with older teens and older adults. Most of my expertise is in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma, but I often also address other issues such as substance use, grief, relationship difficulties, family conflict, and many others. My style is honest and straight-forward. My clients typically report appreciating the more warm and down-to-earth style that I bring to the therapy space. My approach to therapy is person-centered and collaborative; I believe in meeting the client where they are in their journey, and assisting them with the appropriate next steps to promote the best outcome.
