I specialize in working with children, teens, families, and adults. Depending on the individuals needs, I offer different therapeutic approaches such as EMDR, TF-CBT, and utilize directive and non-directive play therapy approaches. I work with individuals who have a history of trauma, depression, anxiety and adjustment issues following family disturbances such as divorce or family losses. I strive to provide a safe place for individuals and families to explore their thoughts and emotions related to the struggle that they are learning to cope with. I am trained in evidence based treatment models such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I apply play therapy techniques to these models of treatment. I have worked in a variety of settings such as hospitals, schools and community agencies.
