Cheryl Twombly is a Licensed Clinic Social Worker who has over 30 years of experience working with people through all stages of life from pregnancy to end of life in a variety of different settings. Regardless of my role, my priority has always been to ensure clients feel respected, heard, and validated during our time working together. My style brings my warmth, compassion, humor, and a direct nature together in a person-centered manner that supports clients to face their pain and deepen an understanding of their needs while enhancing awareness of their existing strengths and developing new coping strategies. It is equally important to me that I provide quality care using evidence-based practices proven effective in addressing the concerns presented by clients during our time working together. I use a foundational approach centered on the use of mindfulness and self-compassion practices along with a variety of clinical interventions.
