I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 24 years of experience who co-owns Healing Reflections Therapy with my partner. I work with a diverse range of individuals and couples and and have done years of community-based crisis intervention. I help clients focusing upon their strengths and past successes and build on their current level of insight. I believe therapy is a cooperative endeavor to help the client in discovering his/her/their own abilities and coping strategies. I utilize evidence-based interventions such as Mindfulness, CBT and DBT. I speak at conferences on HIV/AIDS, work with LGBTQIA+ clients, and other topics.
