As a bilingual (English and Spanish) LGBTQ+ first-generation Latino/Mexican male, my life experiences have shaped my passion for helping others. I’ve learned to navigate hardships on my own, and I use that resilience to motivate and guide others toward achieving their personal goals. Cultural competence is central to my work, and I strive to understand and honor the diverse experiences within our communities. I know that finding ways to unwind and manage stress can be challenging, and I aim to provide tools and strategies that make that process more approachable. With 3+ years in mental health, I’ve served the Latinx community, minorities, juveniles, and those impacted by domestic violence. I enjoy supporting young adults, first-gen students, people of color, and LGBTQIA+ clients, bringing inclusivity and cultural awareness into my therapeutic approach.
