Trauma can be defined as manifestations in both mind and body, stemming from either an isolated painful experience or a recurring theme of painful events over the course of one’s life. I utilize an integrated, whole-person and trauma-focused therapeutic approach in effort to create space for healing from the adverse life experiences that often interfere with our daily lives. As an Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained therapist through EMDRIA, I recognize most behaviors or symptoms as adaptations to trauma.
