Sometimes the things that used to be protective outlive their purpose and can start weighing negatively on one's experiences and actions. As someone who has worked in community mental health, residential treatment, and in outpatient settings, I have seen and worked with trauma in a variety of forms, from complex and developmental, to religious and PTSD. I strive to hold a space for people to safely explore who they are and who they want to be, and to help them find their path towards those goals.
