I have been a practicing, clinical social worker for the past thirty years. I attempt to provide a kind, caring, nonjudgemental, educational atmosphere where positive change can occur. My approach to counseling is relaxed and interactive and based on the belief that understanding feelings is essential to personal growth and happiness. My goal is to encourage, challenge, teach positive coping skills, positive problem-solving skills, and mindfulness techniques so that I may empower each of my clients in the specialized areas of anxiety, depression, and women's issues in aging!
