I am a licensed clinical social worker with 30 years of experience as a clinician. My approach to therapy is very client-driven and eclectic. I often employ CBT and evidence-based practices but sometimes clients need empathic listening and lots of rapport building before we can get to CBT. I like to think that I do what works for each client in the moment and respond to feedback about what works for you. I have been trained in CBT, trauma-focused CBT, grief and loss, empathic listening, spiritual psychology, family systems, and Imago treatment for couples.
