Expressing one's self and naming emotions can be exhausting. Specifically men have told me "no one ever allowed me or taught me how to express myself when I was a younger". Not being able to communicate and express yourself will eventually stunt growth in relationships and in personal development. However, the arts add a variety and texture to the verbal that can be described, shaped and...transformed. This allows us to return back to the first ways we communicated in our early years which turns into a freeing experience. You begin to engage differently with yourself, others and start to have a clear plan for your wellbeing.
