I want to start by commending you on starting this mental health journey. It is often not an easy road to walk down and I give you a lot of credit for doing so. HI! My name is Christine Knapp, LMHC. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with a private practice in Mineola, N.Y. I have 9+ years experience in working with a variety of clients, individually, in couples and with families. I have worked with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, Adjustment Disorder, gender/identity issues and trauma. My approach is a psychodynamic one and I help clients explore unmet childhood needs and work on healing them in the present.
