I have discovered in my 35+ years as a therapist that when we get stuck in a certain way of feeling, thinking, or behaving which interferes with our happiness, it is usually rooted in a past history or perhaps a singular past experience, which traps us in a "programmed" way of being. I work with people to liberate them from these patterns which are often ways that the brain processes these experiences and when they can be reprocessed a person can have a much more functional and happy life. Anxiety, depression and relationship dysfunction can often be healed using these principles.
