My hope as a counselor is to help individuals understand their worth and purpose in the world. Through an exploration of your unique psychosocial history and presenting circumstances, I incorporate evidence-based treatment modalities and faith-based interventions to improve your present daily functioning and future hope. I find value in providing a safe space for clients to explore their how past emotional wounds, attachment styles, early life experiences, interpersonal relationships, and present environment (home, work, and community life) may be contributing to presenting symptoms. I have 10 years of counseling experience in the treatment of co-occurring mood disorders, perfectionism, adjustment-related disorders, women's issues, codependency, and trauma. I have a particular interest in integrating faith into my practice as my graduate program provided Christian integration into each course.
