About
My approach is strength based, and starts with creating a safe and comfortable space. I work to empower clients and family members to meet their goals in order to be successful in all aspects of their lives. I have clinical experience working with clients seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, life adjustments. I am trained in EMDR to help clients through past traumas. In addition to experience working with young adults and new mothers, I work with children and adolescent clients and their families to address their emotional and behavioral problems. I also have a certified therapy dog, Stella who is often in sessions. I use evidenced based treatments in my practice including EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy skills. I am also trained in motivational interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Part of my training and expertise is in supporting survivors of human trafficking and online enticement.
