I want to take this opportunity to thank you for reaching out to me and introduce myself. I am Christopher Gerou, and I have practiced counseling for over 29 years. I’m also open to serving businesses on a limited basis as a grief counselor, during a crisis need or death in the workplace, or in Professional Development. I am a Thanatologist, which comes from (Thanatology or Deathlore, the scientific study of death and the losses brought about as a result). I have a passion for this field of study and grief work. I've worked on crisis teams, served as a Trauma Specialist, worked in funeral homes and hospice, and taught "Issues of Living and Dying" at the college level.
