My style is warm and casual, creating a dialogue that results in mutual insight and understanding. I like to take an active role in the discussion and use humor while providing an inviting environment to explore the problems and successes of your life. My approach is based in the Psychodynamic, Acceptance/Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR and Mindfulness traditions. I've worked in private practice since 2008 and also at the VA where I am a therapist for veterans in Boston. I graduated from Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, MA and have practiced in the Boston area since.
