It takes courage to contact a therapist. Just calling or e-mailing me tells me you are ready and have the courage to do the important healing work therapy can provide. When you work with me you can expect that I will be compassionate and will provide a "safe harbor" for you to be yourself. You might be going through a hard time that you can't find your way through, a loss or a life-transition. It is my job to help put you at ease while teaching you skills and showing you options for feeling better and more in charge of your life. Clients tell me that I'm an attentive listener who provides direction in ways that help them get "unstuck" from self-defeating patterns of negative thought or behavior. I provide a perspective that clients say gives them hope and enables them to feel more confident about handling life's challenges.
