About
Everyone experiences difficult moments in life. Sometimes it is helpful to speak to someone for support and guidance. As a marriage and family therapist, I have always been interested in providing that support and guidance to others. I have extensive experience in working with children and their families. I also have a particular interest and experience in dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, parenting, grief and loss, relationship problems, adjustment problems, behavioral problems and trauma survivors. It is truly rewarding for me to see individuals grow from their life experiences. I am also passionate about teaching. I teach at Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles. I teach classes in both the undergraduate and graduate departments. I have taught many courses including Human Development, Personality Disorders, Family Therapy, Counseling Fieldwork, and Child Therapy. I have also taught several of these courses in Spanish.
