English | español I specialize in early and relational trauma. We learn about the world and about ourselves through attachments to significant others who help us recognize our own feelings and decipher an uncertain world. We model human connections to those early attachment patterns. In therapy people learn to reflect and review some of those patterns to enhance their way to relate to others based on their current strengths and goals. It is a discovery of vast possibilities. Often anxiety and depression are the expression of a learned self limiting, reactive behavioral response. Therapy offers a space of safety and self-expression. In our sessions, all aspects of who you are have room to be: the frightened, lonely, angry, curious, tentative parts find the way to be heard and integrated into a stronger self. As a therapist, I am an active presence that will be there for you, with questions and comments all along.
