Parenting stress is common but sometimes requires counseling. Parents often have questions about their child's development. My specialty is early childhood development and disorders such as ADHD, Autism, Aspergers and other differences including learning differences. Other issues include difficulty socializing. Therapy includes assessment, diagnosis, referral for additional resources, support, education, parent training, and increasing coping skills. Other therapeutic strategies include behavior management, mindfulness, relaxation training, play therapy, social skills training and cognitive behavioral therapy.
