As a therapist, I love witnessing the moment when a client says they’re proud of themselves; where they start feeling energized, supported, and in control of their life. Many of these people will start from a place of feeling stressed with life and its affiliated tasks. Many of them feel hopeless, anxious, and isolated amongst their struggles. Although my framework and caseload is eclectic, I strongly identify as a feminist therapist: I help women and individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community address systemic oppression and in what ways it is causing distress and how to remain empowered alongside it.
