In my work with clients, I rely upon my varied work experiences, striving always to bring a sense of curiosity, not judgment (a la Ted Lasso). I see my clients as humans, first and foremost, in order to gain insight into their unique experience. In addition to utilizing a variety of therapeutic strategies tailored to each client, I employ analogies and metaphors to achieve the benefits of therapy. Often the shadows in our lives are bigger than the objects themselves.
