For the past 12 years, it has been my honor and pleasure to serve military veterans and their families. Many of these veterans have told me that the counseling process literally saved their lives. They often started counseling with wounds so deep that they had almost lost hope of ever feeling better. Some had not attended family events or social functions in years due to anxiety, depression and other debilitating conditions. After working through these issues in counseling, they were able to enjoy life again with their families and friends. I have also worked in areas of hospice, home health and child protective services. My areas of expertise are: PTSD and trauma-related issues, chronic pain, depression, anxiety and every day stress related to living in this busy world. I am certified in cognitive processing therapy and trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). I use a holistic style of therapy designed to address the body, mind, soul and spirit.
