I am often asked why I chose to become a therapist, my answer is the most obnoxious one: 'I didn't choose my profession, my profession chose me'. I know, cliche as I may come across as, I truly feel this is accurate within my career passion. I did not intend on becoming a therapist as I continued my education at The University of St. Mary's, but as I stumbled onto a psychology course as an elective, I was done for. I realized this is the focus I wanted to pursue. I love that my work is to empower, enlighten, support, and assist in growth for a more positive tomorrow.
