For 20+ years, I have enjoyed working with a diverse population of all ages from a variety of backgrounds. My clients have shaped how I practice. I work from a cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, trauma-informed foundation. I help clients develop and integrate new patterns into their lives that can bring them out of crisis, enhance their lives, and help them transition into their 'new normal'. I encourage clients to focus on what they can control, to activate in positive ways, and to problem solve. I'm chronically optimistic, and like to integrate humor and fun into sessions.
