I believe we can all greatly benefit from being encouraged to express ourselves, understand our emotions and behaviors, and develop ways to cope and thrive in our environment. Together we will explore who you are, not just through your past experiences but mostly through your present emotions/behaviors and future goals. I approach each session with genuineness, openness and empathy. In my practice, counseling includes conversation and humor; both laughter and tears are important while healing and growing. While I certainly respect that serious matters are discussed in therapy, we can usually find ways to enjoy our progress! I specialize in working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. I am also skilled at working with clients who are seeking help in order to achieve their personal and professional goals, as well as manage stress, emotional disturbances, and family conflicts.
